About Us - JoAnna Cline
JoAnna Cline obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. Later she pursued a Masters Degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary and graduated with honors in 2006. She is licensed in the State of Ohio as a Professional Counselor (PC), working under the supervision of Carolyn Pickler, PCC-S.
JoAnna is passionate about helping those who struggle with eating disorders. Her own experience with an eating disorder and recovery gives her unique insight to their struggles with this powerful illness. JoAnna is also committed to working with women and men helping them explore issues that impact their self-steem. JoAnna has also had experience working with adolescents in an educational environment using group work and individual counseling as a way to reach out to young people.
JoAnna believes that trust is essential in the counseling process. JoAnna uses an eclectic approach, incorporating elements from several different counseling theories that best fit the needs and situation of the client. JoAnna recognizes the uniqueness of each person and assists them in establishing specific goals geared towards their own personal growth and development.
JoAnna is married and enjoys spending time with her husband, step-daughter and two dogs.
