Eating Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program
New Beginnings Eating Disorders Center offers excellent care for those wishing to take steps toward recovery from eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.
Our treatment team is comprised of professionals with years of experience.  Our team is committed to our clients, and we are consistently involved in their care as they continue through our program and their aftercare. 

Program Goals:

• To foster understanding in the connection between emotions and eating disordered behaviors.
• To assist participants in changing destructive thoughts and behaviors.
• To provide participants with non-destructive, alternative coping skills.
• To return clients to normalized eating.
• To enhance communication and rebuild trust between participants and family/significant others.

Program Description: Sessions meet three days a week with nine hours of therapy per week.  The program is six weeks in length.  Our IOP is also ideal for someone transitioning from residential treatment.
Groups are aimed at enhancing personal awareness of behaviors and coping skill development.  Groups include:

• Treatment planning
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy
• Nutrition education
• Movement therapy
• Body Image
• Parent/friends support group

Treatment Team: The program offers a multidisciplinary treatment   approach.  Our treatment team includes a:

• Psychiatrist
• Licensed Counselor
• Licensed Dietitian
• Registered Nurse
